Bolted Corrugated Metal Structures BCMS B381

The B381 corrugation profile, 380mm x 140mm, is engineered to provide exceptional structural performance for large-span structures. The deeper corrugation profile offers significantly greater load-carrying capacity than the B200 and is typically used for underpasses and stockpile tunnels under very large loads.

B381 structures provide a cost-effective alternative to conventional reinforced concrete solutions and has a spanning ability 20+m. The modular design enables efficient transportation and rapid installation, helping to reduce construction time, minimise site disruption and lower overall project costs.

For projects subjected to extreme loading conditions, the structural capacity of B381 arches can be further enhanced through the installation of double-rib reinforcement. Where additional strength is required, the cavity between the ribs can be reinforced and grouted to deliver even greater load-bearing performance.
