Our range of corrugated metal pipes and bolted, corrugated steel structures are all based on the same underlying design principle: by applying sinusoidal profiles to flat sheet, the strength of the sheet is greatly increased.
The subsequent high strength-to-weight ratio results in cost-effective structures with a wide range of applications. Our Stilcor helical culverts are manufactured in a range of materials with wall thicknesses from 2.0mm up to 3.5mm. We offer all corrugation profiles specified in AS/NZS 2041:2010 Buried Corrugated Metal Structures, including 68mm × 13mm, 75mm × 25mm, and 125mm × 25mm. We can also roll-form the 150mm × 50mm corrugation profile on our mobile mills in diameters greater than 4.4m up to 7.0m.
The B200, B381, and Ultra-Cor bolted structures are available in a wide range of geometric shapes with stronger corrugation profiles and heavier steel thicknesses. We manufacture the B200 “Multiplate” structures in Townsville, QLD. The B381 structures are manufactured by our South Korean partners, Fixon Inc., and the Ultra-Cor structures are manufactured by our Canadian partners, AIL Pty Ltd.
We offer a full design service carried out in accordance with AS/NZS 2041.1 Buried Corrugated Metal Structures – Design Methods, supplemented by other international standards where applicable. For more complex designs, we can also include 3D FEA analysis where required.
Stilcor CSP / CMP culverts are helically-wound pipes available in a wide range of metals and coatings.
HPL is a polyethylene-coated galvanised steel with the same steel strength and galvanizing weight (G250, Z600) as used in the manufacture of our standard culverts.
Bolted, corrugated metal structures (‘BCMS’) are manufactured as curved, corrugated plates, which are then assembled on-site.
The B381 profile offers a more limited range of structure shapes but has a greatly enhanced structural capacity.
We are working with Atlantic Industries of Canada (“AIL”), who design and manufacture the Ultra-Cor corrugation profile – the largest corrugation available.
